Aerial Hoop is a beautiful circus and acrobatics inspired full body workout. This discipline is a great way to build strength and stamina, whilst also improving your core muscles and upper body strength. You will create an array of beautiful shapes on the hoop which will include strength holds, flexibility poses and combinations of tricks.
LEARN WITH CONFIDENCE
You will have the opportunity to learn a variety of exciting dynamic tricks, spins, balances and transitions in this above ground class. As you start to learn new moves each lesson, you will be able to experience and enjoy the challenge of sequencing them together, in your very own routine.
Our hoops are rigged via a single point to the ceiling and have a swivel attached, allowing the hoop to spin when you add momentum to your movements. This skill looks particularly impressive, as you are above ground level at all times and feel like you are flying!
There is no previous experience or minimum fitness level requisites to join our new beginner classes - you can start working towards increasing your stamina and endurance from the very first lesson.
Leggings with any top of your choice
No footwear, we train bare feet
No jewellery and hair tied back where possible
Please do not moisturise 24hrs before your lesson

I used to do synchronised swimming competitively, and when I had to stop through injury, never thought I’d be able to find another way to be active and creative at the same time. Working on the hoop with Abi has built up my confidence and given me back a safe and “happy place” to be.
